Through systematic non-destructive testing, Aarbakke ensures that welded components and critical parts meet the highest standards of quality and integrity without affecting the material or structure. NDT is integrated as a natural part of our production process, enabling early detection of imperfections, documented compliance and verified performance.
Aarbakke is certified according to NTO and provides the following NDT services in-house:
Visual Inspection (VI)
Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Dye or Liquid Penetrant Inspection (PT / DPI)
Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
Positive Material Identification (PMI)
Cladding Thickness Report (CTR)
We also handle Eddy Current Testing (ET) and X-ray Radiographic Testing (RT) when required.
A dedicated 60 m² area is assigned for NDT activities, operated by in-house Level 2 and Level 3 NDT personnel. All inspections are performed in accordance with applicable standards and customer specifications, ensuring full traceability, transparency and confidence in structural integrity.
